How to Deactivate a Sensor Wall Switch

Sensor lights are one way people can make home life more convenient. Its primary purpose is to automatically turn on the light when it detects motion, such as when a person enters the room. When the person leaves or stops moving, the light turns itself off after a short period of time. If you want to deactivate the motion sensor for any reason, you can switch the tab at any time.

     Locate your sensor light's tab. Depending on the model of light you have, this position will vary but will have the options "On" and "Off" at minimum.

     Switch the tab to "Off" to permanently deactivate the motion sensor.

     Return the tab to "On" when you want to resume motion sensing.
