How to Cover Water-Stained Ceilings

After you locate and remove the source of the water that has stained your ceiling, remove the stain itself. Never fix the stain until you have totally solved the cause, which will prevent mold and mildew, rotting and structural problems. Be sure to protect yourself while you cover the stain.
