How Do I Use Ryobi H250SF?

The Ryobi H250SF straight finish nailer is a pneumatic nailer. This means that it is powered by the air pressure produced when the tool is attached to an air compressor. A finish nailer is a valuable addition to your tool arsenal since it is useful for so many projects around your home. Not only is the air nailer perfect for attaching trim, it can also be used for cabinetry and woodworking. The Ryobi finish nailer operates between 70 and 120 lb. per square inch, or psi.

Instructions

    • 1

Lubricate the nailer with air tool oil. This tool should have came with the Ryobi H250SF finish nailer, but is also available to purchase alone at the home improvement stores. Add a couple of drops of oil to the air fitting.

    • 2

Push the latch release to open the magazine. Load the strip of nails with the heads pointing up and the points facing down. Slide the magazine in fully to close.

    • 3

Hook the nailer up to the air compressor for the air supply. Plug in the air compressor and turn it on.

    • 4

Press the actuator foot against the nailing surface to depress it.

    • 5

Pull the trigger to drive the nail into place. Two different settings allow for you to shoot one or multiple nails at a time. Allow for some recoil from the nail gun once the fastener is driven in.
