How to Measure Wooden Doors

Wooden doors are common in many homes. True hardwood doors are mostly exterior doors; doors on bedrooms and bathrooms are typically hollow core doors. Regardless of the door type or material, measuring for doors will follow the same basic process. You will need these door measurements when replacing or installing a new door. You can typically measure the door without removing it from the hinges, making the process easier to complete.
