How to Fix a Sears Table Saw Blade Height

Sears table saws need to be calibrated whenever there's an interruption in power supplied to the saw. The electronic blade height, sometimes called elevation, and bevel operations need to be zeroed before they'll work properly. When the zeroing of the blade height is completed, the electronic blade height adjustment will know where to start from. Then, when you enter dimensions on the keypad, the actual blade elevation will be correct. Fixing table saw blade height issues can be accomplished by making adjustments to the calibration.

Press the upward pointing "Jog" button until the tip of a saw tooth is even with the table top. Then press the "Cal/Enter" key. The display will show a series of zeros which are zero elevation, and the calibration of the saw blade height will be complete. Now when you raise the blade, the height will be correct.
