How to Replace the Blade in a Ryobi 10-Inch Power Miter Saw Model TS254

The Ryobi 10-inch TS254 utilizes the same blade-locking mechanism that all Ryobi miter saws utilize. This means that the process for removing and replacing the miter saw blade is the same on all models that Ryobi manufactures. Removing the saw blade should only take a couple of minutes to complete. Replace the blade when it has trouble cutting through materials such as wood; this is indicated by the motor slowing down as you cut, or by burned edges on the wood.

Tighten the blade bolt counterclockwise with the wrench.

    • 8

Press the spindle lock button to release the lock.

    • 9

Slide the blade bolt cover and the blade guard back down to its previous location and tighten the Phillip's screw.
