Pull the follower in the nail magazine all the way back to its limit and latch it.
Insert a strip of nails into the magazine with the point of the nails facing toward the nose of the nailer.
Press the follower latch to release it and slide the follower forward until it contacts the nails.
Place the work contacting element at the precise spot for nailing and press it firmly against the working material until the work contacting element is fully depressed.
Squeeze the trigger once to drive the nail.
Move the nailer to the next spot and repeat the procedure.
Squeeze the trigger and hold it in the fully squeezed position.
Move along the surface of the working material at a fast pace, bouncing the work contacting element at each point where you wish to drive a nail.
Release the trigger after driving the desired number of nails to avoid unintentional nail discharge.
Loosen the lock nut on the work contacting element of the nailer with a 3/8-inch open end or 5/32-inch hex socket wrench.
Move the work contacting element down to correct for overdriving, where the head of the fastener is being driven below the surface of the working material.
Move the work contacting element up if the heads of the fasteners protrude and are not flush with the surface of the working material.
Re-tighten the lock nut on the work contacting element.
Disconnect the supply of compressed air.
Release the latch that secures the front guide. Pivot the front guide away from the nailer.
Remove the jammed nail and push the driver blade upward into its normal position.
Close the front guide and secure the latch.
