When birch plywood splits, it can mean having to purchase more wood to finish a carpentry or furniture-making project. Although a split in birch plywood may seem to render the lumber sheet unusable, it actually can be repaired and incorporated into your woodworking project. Because plywood is comprised of pressed woods, it is not difficult to repair when it splits. All you will need is a few tools to restore your birch plywood.
