How to Adjust a Kitchen Corner Turntable

A kitchen corner turntable gives you storage space in a corner cabinet while making the contents of the shelves easily accessible. The lazy Susan mechanism should operate smoothly, and there should not be any uneven gaps along the front opening of the cabinet. If you put too much weight on the shelves, they may operate unevenly. Simply redistribute the weight. Additional corner turntable adjustments are simple to make. If you have more than 100 lbs. of weight on the turntable, remove items so you can fine-tune your adjustments.

Instructions

Open the kitchen corner turntable cabinet to expose the telescoping tube that the lazy Susan pivots on. Find the screw at the top of the tube and loosen it. Lower the telescoping pole 1/8-inch. Re-tighten the screw. By lowering the telescoping pole, you now have room to adjust the door to even out any gaps along the front opening.

Turn the lazy Susan to the right to access the height adjustment screw. Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise if you need to lower the door to close gaps. Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to raise the doors.

Loosen but do not remove the front screws of the mounting bracket of the lazy Susan. Open the door from either side to expose the bracket. Remove the shipping screws. Reset the bracket so the door aligns with the face of the cabinet. Place the shipping screws in the adjustment slots rather than back in their original location. Tighten the mounting bracket’s front screws.

Use the screwdriver to loosen the main screws of the top bracket to adjust the swing of the cabinet as well as its side-to-side clearance. Remove the shipping screws. Move the top bracket so the door opens and closes easily and has equal gaps on either side of the door. Insert the shipping screws into the slotted openings on the bracket. Tighten the shipping screws, as well as the main screws, to finish the adjustments.
