Instructions

    • 1

Measure a point about 3 inches above and 2 inches to the left of the top left corner of the window and mark this point with a pencil. Repeat the same process above and to the right of the top right corner of the window.

    • 2

Place a scarf hook at each mark and make new marks to indicate where you need to install the mounting hardware.

    • 3

Drill pilot holes at the hardware marks.

    • 4

Mount the scarf hooks on the wall with a screwdriver and the mounting hardware included with the scarf hooks.

    • 5

Drape string over the two scarf hooks, creating the same swag you want to achieve with the sheers. Arrange the string across the top of the window so that it drapes attractively across the center of the window.

    • 6

Extend the string straight down from both scarf hooks and cut it off to indicate the length you need for the sheers.

    • 7

Remove the string from the window, measure it and purchase sheers of this length.

    • 8

Find the center point of the sheers and the center point at the top of the window. Place the center of the sheers at the center of the window, then drape the fabric over the scarf hooks.

    • 9

Arrange the sheers attractively on the scarf hooks, then step back to assess your design. Make any necessary adjustments until you achieve the perfect drape.
