Coat a 3-foot square of your wall by applying adhesive with a paste brush.
Tear the butcher-paper into random shapes and sizes, placing the torn pieces in the square in a random pattern. Lay the larger pieces first as a base, then coat them and lay the smaller pieces on top until the area is covered.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3, continuing to work within the 3-foot area, and expand outward in equal or smaller increments until the entire wall or area is covered.
Use a plastic edge smoother to iron out any wrinkles in the paper before it dries. Pay close attention to the jagged edges to see they are all flat.
Pour one 8-ounce can of polyurethane finishing glaze into a container with approximately 1 ounce of brown acrylic paint. Mix the content, per the directions, and use your paint brush to coat the wallpaper with a generous application of glaze. When the glaze dries it will have the look of a leather wallet.
