A curtain on a door window adds decorative and functional touches as long as you attach it to the door at the top and bottom. Correct hardware, such as a sash rod and sash brackets, keeps the curtain in place and accents the door. Attention to hanging and placing the curtain provides protection and flair. A few minutes of styling add a design element to the door and the entire room. Begin with curtains measuring 4 inches longer than the length of the window on your door.
