Hang narrow curtain panels measured to fall just to the bottom of the windowsill. Use panels made of lightweight material to maintain a roomy feel to the window area.
Install curtain rods on each side of the corner window. Use a drapery rod corner connector to secure the curtain rods into the window.
Select panels in widths that will not bunch up much. Use a 52-inch-wide panel, for example, on a 48-inch window. Hang one panel on each side of the window.
Attach a curtain hold-back in a matching design to the wall on the outer sides of the window. Pull back each panel to open the outside view from the room.
