Measure out where you want your brackets for your curved curtain rod to go. Ideally, the brackets should extend one inch away from the window frame and be attached to the wall, not the frame. Mark with a pencil where each bracket will go.
Install the brackets. Most curtain rods come with hardware, or you can purchase it separately. Use screws for a better grip in the wall. Insert the top screw and then the bottom one. Make sure the bracket is straight. Repeat with the second bracket.
Insert the rod through the curtains. Separate the rod into two pieces. Feed one end through one curtain panel. Set this aside. Feed the other end through the other panel. Attach the two parts of the rod in the center.
Hang the curtains. Attach one side to the bracket. Make sure it catches completely. It helps to have someone else hold the other end of the rod while you attach the first side. Repeat with the second side.
Arrange the curtains. Pull one panel over one window and the second panel over the second window. They should meet in the corner. Straighten out the tops. Each curtain panel should be centered and not bunched up in any area.
