How to Decorate a Glass Wall

Glass doors and walls are functional items that express a certain amount of decorative flair. However, unlike most decor items, they are not easily removed when the individual who originally liked them either moves out of the home or grows tired of them. This means you are left to deal with a large surface in your home that's difficult to keep clean. Decorating a glass wall can help make it more to your tastes and may even make it easier to keep looking clean.

Determine the appearance you want for your glass wall. There are an assortment of decorating options, but you probably do not want to use all of them at once. Combining a frosted glass spray with stencils can give your wall an etched glass appearance that you can change with the seasons. Decorative glass tints can make your wall resemble stained glass or a mural.

Clean the wall thoroughly with glass cleaner and dry it completely with a microfiber towel or other towel that will not shed particles and lint on the glass.

Apply the decoration of your choice. Glass tints can be directly applied to the wall. If you have selected glass frosting and stencils, you can place the stencils on the wall and then spray the frosting spray on them to create the look you desire.
