How to Cover the Gap Between the Baseboards & Wall

The baseboard gives your room a finished look by placing a strip of wood across the wall where it meets the floor. A baseboard may be plain or elegant, but if it starts to pull away from the wall, it creates a battered and clumsy appearance. A gap also leaves the baseboard without the support of the wall, making it more vulnerable to cracking. Fix your baseboards as soon as you notice a visible gap.
