Mark the wall with the locations of the studs where you want to install the fountain. Clearly mark both sides of each stud with a pencil to indicate the entire support area available.
Set the jug tabletop fountain on a work space and use two chain lengths with 1/4-inch links to determine the best places to support the fountain with the chain. Wrap the chain around structures, underneath the base or through any rear mounting hooks to find the most secure and discreet attachment path. Note where the chain ends are positioned at the rear of the fountain for the best positioning.
Transfer the mounting locations to the wall and mark four spots on studs that would make good attachment points. Drill a hole into each stud and thread a 1/2-inch screw-thread eye-bolt into all four holes. Tighten the eye-bolts into place until the head of each eye-bolt comes in contact with the wall's surface. Clip 1/2-inch carabiners onto all four of the eye-bolts.
Hold the fountain in place with the help of an assistant and strap it to the wall by threading the chain lengths through their previously determined paths and attaching them to the wall carabiners. Tighten or loosen the fit by moving the links up or down the carabiners.
Staple the electrical cord to the wall along its path to the outlet with the fountain unplugged. Use an extension cord if necessary.
