Instructions

    • 1

Choose a strong, sturdy vase that will be able to handle the weight of the pebbles. A vase that is too fragile may shatter while you are attaching the pebbles with the hot glue. Inexpensive vases, such as the ones made of thicker glass, will work better than an antique treasure.

    • 2

Wash your vase with a mild soap and water. Rinse it and dry well. You want to remove any traces of dust, grease or grime that may prevent the hot glue from sticking to your vase. A light sanding with fine grit sandpaper will also help with adhesion.

    • 3

Collect pebbles of varying shapes and textures, but try to keep all of the pebbles within the same size range for uniformity. You may also choose to collect other natural materials to add to your vase, such as sticks and twigs.

    • 4

Heat up your hot glue gun and begin to attach your pebbles to your vase. You can arrange the pebbles in any pattern, but just be sure to set them close to each other, leaving no gaps. Add your twigs and other natural materials by adhering them to the vase with the hot glue.
