Determine which wall you will be decorating. Look for walls that look bare or need a little extra flair. Don't worry about the size of the wall; you can arrange the wall pockets to take up more space if need be.
Purchase wall pockets from a home accessory or furniture store. If you want a vintage look, go to antique or estate sales or check secondhand stores. Buy wall pockets that coordinate with your decorating style and colors. The wall vases don't have to be exactly the same, but they should coordinate since you will be using them together.
Arrange the wall pockets on the ground to get ideas of how you want to hang them. Place them in a square, with two on the top and two on the bottom, or in a row, a diagonal row, or even two on either side of a window or mirror. Remember as you are spacing the wall vases that you may be placing flowers or decorative branches inside, so leave extra room.
Measure the distance between each wall pocket while they are lying on the floor, then hang the first wall pocket, using the level making sure it is hung straight. Measure the next wall pocket using your measuring tape, and mark its position on the wall lightly with a pencil, then hang that pocket. Do this until every wall pocket is hung.
Place a bunch of decorative branches or silk flowers in the opening of the wall pocket. Trim the branches or flowers so they are the same length in every wall pocket.
