Instructions

    • 1

Soak the jar in hot, soapy water for approximately 30 minutes to remove the label and the glue. Wash the inside and outside of the jar with a dish cloth. Rinse and repeat to remove excess soap and residue. Wipe jar dry with the soft cloth.

    • 2

Cover the work surface with the drop-cloth to protect it from residue and drips.

    • 3

Sand the jar lightly, which ensures paint adhesion. Wipe with a fresh, damp soft cloth. Air-dry the jar.

    • 4

Follow manufacturer's instructions to apply a thin coat of paint. Air-dry the jar. Repeat the process until it is covered and desired color intensity is achieved.

    • 5

Refer to manufacturer's instructions to apply the sealer, which protects the paint and provides a finished look. Air-dry the vase.
