Instructions

    • 1

Print out the image that you wish to engrave. Position it on the inside of the glassware where you would like the engraving to be.

    • 2

Tape the image to the inside of the glassware so it does not move around. Stuff a dark rag behind it to darken the image and make it easier to see while etching.

    • 3

Place a piece of non-skid vinyl on your workspace.

    • 4

Set the glass on top of it and hold it firmly while drawing the outline of your image with a crayon.

    • 5

Hold the glass firmly with one hand and use the Dremel to follow the lines in the glass.

    • 6

Wipe away any dust that has settled on your design with a rag while engraving. This keeps your design visible and makes the work easier. Continue to outline the object as you wish it with the tool until the desired effect has been reached.
