How to Replace the Rubber Backing on Throw Rugs

Throw rugs sometimes have a rubber backing that prevents them from moving across the floor. Adding a new rubber backing to rugs can prolong the function of them. Over time, the rubber backing can start to come off or get excessively dirty and have less sticking power. Fortunately, it is easy and inexpensive to replace the rubber backing of a throw rug. For less than $20, you should be able to buy a replacement rubber mat and a hot glue gun.
