  Visit the showroom to view the area rug options. Mohawk does not provide photographs of its area rugs online. Some dealers do. Call and ask the dealer before visiting if this is important to you.

  Place an order or purchase the area rug from the showroom floor. Make sure you have the rug measurements so that you can choose the correct size. Some dealers may keep items in stock or sell floor samples. Ask before placing an order, and you may receive the item more quickly.

  Visit the Mohawk Industries corporate website, which is different from the flooring website, and find direct links to retailers selling Mohawk carpets. Click the "Products & Services" menu option and then the "Rugs, Bath & Home Textiles" link to find stores that sell Mohawk area rugs.

  Visit the retailer's store to view area rug options and make a purchase. Retailers usually keep items in stock but may be able to order other styles or out-of-stock items from Mohawk. Ask the salesperson or store manager for assistance.
