Instructions

    • 1

Pour a measured amount of granite crystals -- as determined by the product directions -- into a can of paint. To prevent crystals from clumping, mix the paint continuously with a stirring stick while gradually adding the crystals. Blend the crystals and paint thoroughly with the stick to ensure that the sparkling is distributed evenly.

    • 2

Apply the paint with a brush to achieve a finish that resembles real granite. Brush on paint with long, even strokes, stopping to stir the paint every 90 seconds in order to prevent the crystals from settling. Allow the paint to dry according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

    • 3

Apply a second coat of paint in an X-shaped pattern with short crosshatched brush strokes to produce the deep, textured look of natural granite.
