How to Fit an Osram Titan Globe

Osram makes a range of energy-efficient, "green" lightbulbs for commercial and home use. According to the company, these Titan bulbs can reduce lighting costs by up to 60 percent. In addition to the bulbs, Osram makes energy-efficient lamps and lighting fixtures for the home and office. To fit the Osram Titan, you first need to find out the wattage rating for your lamp or light fixture. This may be marked on the fixture itself or its existing bulb, or the original packaging if the fixture is new.

     Turn the light switches off and remove the old light bulbs from the business or home lighting fixtures.

     Insert the Osram Titan globe bulbs into the lighting fixtures. Slide the prongs on the bulb base into the slits on the fixture and then twist the bulb to secure it.

     Turn the light switches on to test the new bulbs.
