Unscrew the shade rings from the hanging chandelier plugs. Set the plug on top of the mason jar lids, and trace the outline of the plug with the marker.
Poke a hole through the center of the lid with the awl. Cut the inner circle out of the three mason jar lids so they can fit over the chandelier plugs. Remove any excess material necessary to slide the lids over the chandelier plugs. Poke holes in a circle around the hole to let hot air out of the jar. Slide the jar lid over the plug.
Screw the shade ring back onto the plug, securing the lid in place. Slide the mason jar band in place, prior to adding the jar lid, if necessary.
Cut a length of stiff wire to serve as the main support and bend one end of it with pliers to serve as the attachment hook. Attach the main jar to the other end of the stiff wire by wrapping the thin wire around the plug's electrical cord and the thick wire near the plug end of one of the chandelier plugs. Run the rest of that plug’s electrical cord up the thick wire and attach it with additional sections wrapped in thin wire.
Bend another section of stiff wire into a half circle. Attach the apex of the circle near the top of the assembled chandelier with thin wire, with the ends of the stiff wire pointing down.
Attach the other two chandelier plugs to the ends of the half circle of wire using thin wire, and run their electrical cords up the length of the stiff wire. Twist the three electrical cords together and secure them with the thin wire. Install the completed chandelier on a ceiling hook using the thick wire loop, and run the cords across the ceiling to an outlet.
