Turn the power off to the room where the GRAFIK Eye is slated for installation, at the main breaker panel.
Locate the load terminals on the main distribution panel. Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from one run of Romex wire. Insert the black wire into the "L" (line) terminal. Slide the white wire into the "N" (neutral), and the bare wire in the ground terminal, indicated by three horizontal dashes.
Route the other end of the primary Romex lead to the rear of the GRAFIK Eye. Find the corresponding "L," "N," and ground terminals on the back of the GRAFIK Eye control pad. Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from all three conductors at this end.
Pull the individual lighting wires through the junction box housing the GRAFIK Eye. One wire represents one load.
Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from the end of each load wire. Slide the "L" (hot/black) wire from each load wire into the numerically labeled inputs on the back of the control panel.
Cut and strip 1/2 inch of outer insulation from a short black, white and bare ground wire from a scrap piece of Romex.
Connect the white and green wires from each load wire to the incoming Romex wire leading from the distribution panel and the short jumper leads using a red wire nut.
Push the black, white, and ground jumper wires into the corresponding terminals on the back of the GRAFIK Eye's terminals.
Strip 1/4 inch of insulation from one end of the 14/4 low voltage power wire. Connect these wires to the corresponding terminals on the distribution panel.
Pull the 14/4 wire to the back of the GRAFIK Eye. Strip 1/4 inch of outer insulation from this end, connecting it to the matching terminals on the Eye. This powers the panel and provides power to any satellite control panels you may wish to install.
