• Recessed lighting is another traditional lighting option for a drop ceiling. The fixtures are installed so they are flush with the surface of the ceiling’s panels. As a result, only the fixture’s trim is visible. Most recessed lighting fixtures are round, but you can also find square and rectangular options. They usually feature shades that come in a variety of colors, styles and shapes, so you can find an option that complements the rest of your room’s décor. A pedant light is ideal for hanging over a dining table or game table because it provide direct, focused light. However, you can also install one in the center of your drop ceiling to serve as an attractive focal point.
