How to Use Hampton Bay Lights in Full Sun

Hampton Bay is a lighting company that makes solar-powered lights that you can set up in your front yard on a sunny day. The solar panels within the Hampton Bay lights will charge during the day and then light your driveway or walking path leading to your home during the night.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the box containing the Hampton Bay solar-powered lights. Count the number of lights. The Hampton Bay solar-powered lights are lights with bulbs on stakes.

    • 2

Measure the length of the driveway or walkway with a measuring tape. Divide the number of stakes in the lighting box by the length of the driveway or walkway. For example, if your walking path leading to your door is 60 inches long and you have 12 lights, you will place a light every 5 inches. Mark the spot where each light will go.

Pick up one light and push the stake into the ground at the specific measured point. Repeat this until all the lights are in the ground. Allow the bulbs to charge in the direct sunlight. At night they will glow.
