Open your drawing and use the "Layer" command to open the layer manager dialog box or palette.
Create a new layer called "A-WALL-PATT," set the color and line type as needed.
Double-click on the layer name to make it the current layer.
Close the layer manager and return to drawing.
Use the "Boundary" command to create a polyline within the area you specify.
Use the "Hatch" command to open the hatch manager dialog box.
Use the drop-down menus to select the "AR-RSHKE" pattern and set the scale to 1.
Click the "Add/pick points" button and click within the polyline you just created.
Right-click and select the "Preview" option to see the hatch pattern.
Right-click again if you are satisfied with the pattern or hit the "Escape" button to return to the hatch manager dialog box and repeat the process as needed.
Double-click on the hatch object to return to the hatch manager and select the "Add/pick points" button to continue adding additional spaces to be hatched.
Repeat steps 5 through 10 if you prefer to create separate hatch objects in each area you specify.
