Locate the run on the lacquer-finished surface. Tap the surface gently to ensure the lacquer is completely dry.
Sand over the run gently using 220-grit sandpaper. Sand from side to side across the run and surrounding lacquer. Continue to sand consistently until the run is smoothed down to the same level as the surrounding lacquer.
Wipe away the sanding dust with a lint-free cloth.
Dip the tip of the foam brush into the lacquer, and brush a thin layer of lacquer over the wood surface. Run the foam brush in the direction of the grain to achieve a smooth and even finish. Lay the lacquered object down on a flat surface to dry.
