Instructions

    • 1

Measure each of the four sides of the frame using a measuring tape.

    • 2

Cut a piece of batting for each side of the frame. Each piece should measure 6 inches wider and 4 to 5 inches longer than the corresponding side of the frame.

    • 3

Wrap the batting so that the front of the frame is covered and a few inches of batting fold over to the back of the frame on both the top and the bottom edges. Be sure that it is stretched tightly and laying flat against the frame.

    • 4

Staple the batting to the inside of the frame using a staple gun. The staples should be 4 to 6 inches apart. Use extra staples in the corners to secure them tightly. Trim any extra batting. If your bed frame has legs, trim the batting so it is flush with the top of each leg.

    • 5

Cut a piece of fabric for each side of the frame. Each piece should measure 6 inches wider and 4 to 5 inches longer than the corresponding side of the frame.

    • 6

Wrap the fabric pieces over the batting and secure with staples on the back in the same way as the batting was secured. If your bed frame has legs, stop stapling near the leg. Fold the fabric so it is flush with the top of the leg and secure it to the batting using fabric glue. Overlap the fabric by a few inches at each corner.
