Place two 72-inch 4-by-4s running parallel approximately 64 inches apart. Place one 64-inch 4-by-4 at each end to create a 72-inch by 72-inch square 4-by-4 frame. Secure the frame hold by placing one straight metal brace at each end. Screw the straight metal brace to the 4-by-4 to secure the four sections of wood permanently.
Place 72-inch 2-by-6 boards across the 72-inch by 72-inch wood structure. Place them side by side across the entire length of the square to create a solid 72-by-72-inch platform. Drive one screw every 3 inches across each end to secure all 2-by-6 boards to the 4-by-4 structure.
Flip the structure over so the 4-by-4 frame is facing upward. Place one 12-inch 4-by-4 in standing position at each corner. Attach each 4-by-4 leg to the 4-by-4 frame using two straight metal braces. Screw the braces onto the 12-inch 4-by-4 leg sections along the outer edges.
Place the remaining 12-inch 4-by-4 sections over the attached 12-inch sections. Attach one door hinge to join both 12-inch sections of 4-by-4 at each corner. Place the door hinge along the interior edge of the 4-by-4s to enable to legs to fold and adjust inward.
Attach the sliding door locks onto the legs. Place locks along the outer edges with the base on one 12-inch section and the slider unit on the joining 12-inch leg. Screw on the door locks with 3-inch screws. This enables you to lock to legs in place to prevent tipping on the platform.
