Instructions

    • 1

Cut your twigs to be 1 inch longer than the height of the basket.

    • 2

Make a thin vertical line of glue on the basket using the hot glue gun.

    • 3

Press one twig onto the line of glue, adhering it to the basket. The twig should be flush against the bottom of the basket, and should overlap the top edge by 1-inch.

    • 4

Create another vertical line of glue directly next to the twig. Press another twig into the glue, making sure the twigs touch each other, and overlapping the twig 1 inch over the top edge of the basket as above.

    • 5

Continue to glue twigs on the basket until the basket is covered in vertical twigs.

    • 6

Cut the stems of the flowers to be 3 inches longer than the height of the basket. Arrange the flowers in the basket, placing both flowers of each variety together. Place the basket on the piece of blue silk on a table or other flat surface.
