Instructions

    • 1

Measure the distance across the ceiling from one side of the room to the other.

    • 2

Purchase a ceiling mount curtain rod kit, complete with ceiling mount brackets, that is equal to the length of the room.

    • 3

Decide where you want the room divider to hang. Make marks along the ceiling with a fine-tipped marker to indicate where to install the curtain rod brackets. Make a mark on each side of the ceiling, near the walls, and make one mark in the middle of the ceiling.

    • 4

Screw anchors into the ceiling. Screw an anchor into each of the marks. The anchors will help to securely attach the curtain rod and the curtain room divider to the ceiling.

    • 5

Install the brackets for the ceiling rod into the anchors that are screwed into the ceiling. Set the curtain rod on the brackets.

    • 6

Determine what size curtain to use. Measure the distance from the curtain rod to the floor. Purchase a curtain that is equal to the length of the curtain rod and the distance from the rod to the floor.

    • 7

Remove the curtain rod from the brackets. Place the curtain on the curtain rod. Set the curtain rod back on the brackets.

    • 8

Arrange the curtains. Pull the curtains so that they lay straight on the rod.
