Place the skateboard face down on a flat surface. Unscrew the trucks from the board with a screwdriver. You should have holes close to each end of the board, where each truck was previously connected.
Place a ladder or chair under the section of the ceiling where you wish to hang the skateboard. Climb up. Hold the skateboard, with wrong side up, against the ceiling. Ensure that it is in the desired position.
Draw a small line at each end of the board and on each side of the board to mark the position of the board on the ceiling. Pass the tip of the pencil through the holes on the board, where the screws of the truck used to be, to mark the location for the screw hooks. Remove the board. Mark a spot at the center of each set of holes for the hooks.
Drill a hole at each mark for the hooks, using a hand drill. Insert an anchor in each hole and screw in the hooks.
Cut two pieces of fishing wire. Make them as long as you wish the board to hang from the ceiling. Include an allowance for knots.
Thread the wire through two adjoining holes at one end of the board. To do so, pass the wire through one hole, from the back of the board to the front, then pass it through the adjoining hole, from the front of the board to the back. Pull the wire until both ends are even. Tie two overhand knots at the end of the wire. Repeat this process for the second set of holes with the second fishing wire.
Place the wires on the hooks to hang the skateboard. Adjust the wires as necessary so the board is balanced.
