How to Hang an EZ Frame From the Ceiling

EZ Frames are round-cornered plastic frames that are designed for commercial sign applications. Typically, one side of the frame has an open slot so that graphic posters can be slid in and out easily and quickly. These frames are used to highlight sales items, express seasonal wishes or reflect special events in the store. Hanging EZ frames is as simple as the name implies. Many mounting fasteners allow you to select the correct device for your ceiling type and needs.

  Assemble the frame pieces. EZ Frames are sold as corners and sides.

  Cut the side pieces to the lengths you want using a hacksaw and saw box. The corners are spring loaded, and will insert into the sides and lock. Assemble 3 closed sides and 1 open side. This means that one side will have an open slot so you can change your signs easily.

  Attach a double-sided hook into the top two corners. This hook slides into the corner and around a round nub built in to the corner. The top hook remains free.

  Screw a wall anchor into the ceiling at the location of one side of the sign. Screw a screw eye into the wall anchor. Repeat for the other side of the sign. Hook the plastic hooks into the screw eyes to hang the sign.
