Add curtains that play up the light color scheme, such as cafe curtains. Cafe curtains cover the lower half of the window for privacy, and leave the top open to maximize natural light in the kitchen. Alternatively, hang translucent cream or baby-blue curtains if you need privacy or want to block an unappealing view, while still allowing in light.
Create a display of baby-blue dishes or delftware on open shelves or in a cream hutch to give the kitchen a functional and decorative focal point. Use plate stands to show off the plates, and display matching items such as a delftware bowl of fruit and a teapot on the counter.
Decorate the chairs, counter stools or banquette with baby-blue and cream print cushions, if you have an eat-in kitchen. Add coordinating kitchen towels and pot holders. For example, hang cream and baby-blue solid towels together or a set of print towels, such as striped or checked baby-blue and cream towels.
Create a living accent for your kitchen window with a bonsai or kitchen herbs in baby-blue or cream pots. Set up a row of pots in all one color, or alternate cream pots with baby-blue pots.
