Hang a natural-color wreath on the door to symbolize what the door represents: an escape to nature. The sunroom is bright and sunny, so choose a wreath with cheerful, outdoor elements. You can use a wreath frame or a wreath woven from twigs, adding to it with a hot glue gun leaves, flowers, feathers, bird ornaments, eggs, berries and acorns. Choose bright colors, such as yellow flowers, a yellow bird and cream-color eggs for a warm theme.

Paint the door a vibrant color to make it stand out. Add texture, patterns or images to the door to complete the look. Use colors that match your interior decor on the inside and coordinating exterior colors on the outside. Choose interior-exterior paint that will stand up to temperature changes better than interior paint will.

Accentuate the doorframe by painting the trim a contrasting color or adding a border around it. Use stencils to write words around the frame or to create a pattern. Trim types that work with a sun room can include vines, bright colors or geometric shapes.
