Remove all contents from the kitchen drawer in question and spray the drawer with an all-purpose cleaner. Wipe it down with paper towels, removing all dust and grime.
Measure the length and width of the bottom of the kitchen drawer in question. Cut a piece of wood paneling board to these dimensions with an electric saw.
Draw with chalk and a ruler where you want the dividers to go on this piece of wood paneling board, as well as how long and wide you want each one to be. Every household will have different needs. For example, some household might need an extra large section for knives, whereas other households might need an extra large section for teaspoons.
Measure the length of each divider you've drawn in chalk. Cut strips of wood paneling with your electric saw that are 2.5 inches wide and the necessary length.
Glue the strips of wood dividers with industrial strength wood glue to the flat base of the drawer divider. Use your chalk lines as a guide. Hold each divider in place against the glue and the wood base for five minutes before gluing another one in place; this will allow the glue a chance to set.
