Things You'll Need

  • 1/3 cup all purpose tile cleaner
  • 1 gallon warm water
  • Bucket
  • Sponge
  • Painter's tape
  • Drop cloth
  • Paint roller pan
  • Shiny finish sealer for porcelain tile

Instructions

      Combine tile cleaner with warm water in a large bucket. Dip a sponge in the mixture and wipe down the porcelain tiles. Rinse well. Pat the tiles with old clean towels and let them air dry completely.

      Use painters tape to tape off any areas of your work space that you don't want to get sealer on. Cover any exposed surfaces with a drop cloth.

      Pour your sealer into a paint roller pan. Dip your paint roller in the sealer and apply a light coat to the tiles.

      Remove the painter's tape and allow the sealer to dry for 48 to 72 hours.
