Feathery Sucker Cone

• Purchase a Styrofoam cone from a craft store and cover it with a feather boa by tacking one end of the boa to the bottom and winding up around the cone. Push large suckers into the cone, stick first, causing the candy heads to be nestled in among the feathers. Match the color of the lollipops to the color of the boa, and match both to the color scheme of the occasion.

Rock Candy Bouquet

• Fill a tall narrow vase with glass pebbles. The glass pebbles should be clear or they should match your color scheme. Push sticks of unwrapped rock candy into the pebbles stick first, causing the sugar crystals to stand out of the vase like flowers. Rock candy comes in a number of different sizes and shapes. Use one or two for a simple effect, or put a handful into each vase for a showier look.

Filled Glass Jars

• Create a nostalgic traditional look by purchasing glass jars with glass tops and filling them with color-coordinated candy. For a subtly charming effect, fill the jars with the same type of candy but in only two colors. For example, if your celebration is decorated for Valentine's day, fill the jars with pink and white M&M's or jelly beans. If you do not want to fill the jars entirely, put a jar with a closed lid in the larger jar and fill the space between the two.

Candy Sundaes

• Make a candy sundae by filling a flared sundae glass first with colored candy that matches an ice cream flavor. For example, pink and white M&Ms can represent strawberry ice cream, while brown and white jellybeans stand in for chocolate ice cream. Fill the sundae to the top and then slide a large peppermint stick into the sundae to represent the straw. Top off the candy with a layer of white peppermints to represent the whipped cream, and add a red-wrapped piece of candy on top as a cherry.
