Spray the cherry table with an all-purpose wood spray cleaner. Wipe it off with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Spray the surface area of the table with cold water from a spray bottle. Attach a piece of 800-grit sandpaper to the bottom of an electric sander. Wet sand the entire surface area of the table. Wipe off the dust from sanding with a tack cloth and follow with a handheld vacuum.

Cover the surface area of the table evenly with drizzles of a heavy cut rubbing compound. Rub it in evenly, making little circles with a soft cloth. This will bring your table to a shine.
