How to Make a Stippling Brush for Ceilings

A stippling brush is a special paintbrush with thick, slightly jagged and separated bristles. You can use this brush to create a distinctive sand-like texture on your walls and ceilings in a process called stippling or pouncing. Stippling brushes are expensive so it's important to care for the one you have extremely well. If you're reluctant to pay for a stippling brush, you can easily fashion one yourself.
