Place both sets of doors on the work surface. Each set of doors should be folded closed. Stack the doors one on top of the other with the folded side of each door stacked touching.
Turn the stack of doors so the hinged side is furthest away from you.
Looking at the side opposite the hinges, you will see four edges. You will attach hinges to the two middle edges of the stack.
Measure the length of the door and divide by four to find where to locate the hinges. You need to divide by four so there is equal space on the top and bottom of the door. It should look like this --x--x--x--. The x's indicate the location of the hinges.
Place a hinge at the first measurement and use a pencil to indicate where the screws are located. Repeat for the hinge at the second and third measurements.
Place the first hinge back against the door edge lining up the screw holes, and hold in place while you attach the hinge with the included screws using a drill. Repeat for each hinge.
Stand the divider upright and paint, stain or decorate as desired. You can paint the door a fun color, or paint the recessed or louvered area a different color, or even add fabric to cover the recessed areas in the door.
