Replace old appliances with new ones that have a sleek, modern look to complement the loft style of your kitchen. Refrigerators made of brushed steel or polished chrome or those with clear or frosted glass front doors will also make your room feel larger because of their reflective surfaces and increased visual depth. If you choose to use metal, stick with one type throughout the kitchen. You can also use frosted or clear glass doors to add visual depth to cabinets and cupboards, if you wish.
