Hands-Free Automatic Balloon Inflator Instructions

A hands-free automatic balloon inflator gently inflates both latex and foil party balloons, stopping the flow of helium before the balloon becomes over-inflated. These inflators prevent bursting while providing the perfect amount of gas using various valve extension attachments that safely fit inside any type of balloon neck. Simply choose a balloon type to inflate, program the inflator with an allotted amount of time for helium or air flow referencing the chart included with the inflation unit, and trigger the helium or air flow with a tap of the hands-free foot pedal.

Instructions

    • 1

Prepare the unit by plugging the electrical cord into a wall outlet and the foot pedal into the body of the unit. The unit is ready when the digital face display illuminates.

    • 2

Look at the timing chart included with the inflator unit for the various available sizes of balloons. Using the arrow buttons on the face of the unit for seconds and tenths of seconds, set the unit's timer to inflate a balloon with the appropriate amount of air or helium based on amount of time for air or helium flow. Generally, a five inch balloon requires air/helium flow of seven tenths of one second, a nine inch balloon requires one and eight-tenths seconds of flow, an eleven inch balloons require three and three-tenths seconds of flow, a fourteen inch balloon requires six and three-tenths seconds of flow and sixteen inch balloons require nine and eight-tenths seconds of flow.

    • 3

Place the neck of the uninflated balloon on the inflator extender. Roll the neck of the uninflated balloon down until the balloon is completely seated on the inflator.

    • 4

Tap the foot pedal to begin inflating the balloon. The inflator fills the balloon with air or helium for the allotted time, at the end of which it automatically stops to prevent over-inflation and bursting.
