Instructions

    • 1

Trim an inch off of the bottom of each calla lily and rose. Don't trim too much from the lilies in order to preserve their height.

    • 2

Fill tall, slender glass vases halfway full of water and place the lilies in the vase. Depending on the width of the vase, use between 2 and 8 lilies. The lilies shouldn't be crowded or crammed.

    • 3

Place a rose or two in each vase to contrast with the lilies. White lilies with a couple of pink or red roses nestled in between creates an eye-catching arrangement. The roses add more texture to the centerpiece.

    • 4

Stand the vases on round mirrors. Place one vase on each mirror, or use large mirrors and group two vases on each mirror. If the vases are very slender, use three vases per mirror. Vases of different heights make it more interesting if you are using thinner vases.

    • 5

Surround the vases with votive candles in glass candle holders. Place the candles directly on to the mirrors. Decorate the arrangement further by sprinkling confetti, sequins or rose petals around the entire arrangement.

    • 6

Tie a simple, thin satin or velvet ribbon around each vase or the center vase in each arrangement to add a little something to the finished table decoration.
