Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a clear glass bowl from any store. The bowl can be any size you choose, but a bowl with a rim at least 8-inches wide is best. Craft stores sell clear glass marbles. Add these marbles to the bottom of your bowl for an extra touch.

    • 2

Gather together some flower cuttings. Cut the flowers off, leaving the stems long enough to touch the bottom of the bowl with the blossom only reaching just above the bowl's rim.

    • 3

Choose a variety of different types and colors of flowers to add appeal to your bowl's flower arrangement. You can add a few different types, or 10 different types. It is your floral design.

    • 4

Add water to your bowl 2 inches deep. If you have marbles in the bottom, add enough water to cover the marbles. Place the flowers in the bowl so that the stems reach the bottom of the bowl enabling them to get plenty of water.

Arrange the flowers with the lighter colors either in a bunch in the center of the bowl, or around the outer perimeter. Place the darker flowers opposite of the lighter ones. You can also arrange the flowers in groups by type or color.
