Instructions

    • 1

Choose a grapevine wreath. Either round or heart shaped. Grapevine wreaths can be purchased at local craft stores.

    • 2

Purchase two to three bundles of dried lavender. Dried lavender can be purchased at local craft stores. You can dry your own lavender plants. See resources below for information on drying lavender.

    • 3

Pull apart the dried lavender bunches. Cut off long woody stems leaving about 1 inch stem.

    • 4

Hot glue dried lavender to the grapevine wreath. For a round wreath glue the lavender so the flowers all face the same direction. For a heart shaped wreath keep the lavender facing upward on each side of the wreath.
Cover the wreath completely with the dried flowers.

Cut a 6 inch piece of floral wire. Work the wire through the top back of the wreath, make a loop and twist the loose ends together. Hang the wreath from the wire loop

If desired make a bow and hot glue to the top or bottom of the wreath. Cut a 12 inch piece of ribbon, tie into a bow like tying shoelaces, and hot glue to the wreath. Let dry.
